For 30 years the club was very lucky to have the expertise of Chris Rankin senior coach for men and women and former Scottish Champion, who coached an endless list of Champions over the years. From Allander; Kirsty Hyam, Scottish Champion in 1998 and boys and girls who over the years have been selected for the Scottish and British Squads. Chris' wealth of knowledge was second to none and the club continues to thrive of the quality of coaching and mentoring that Chris provided. Chris joined the club with his wife Isabelle who was the queen of conditioning. He kept trying to retire but we wouldn’t let him.


Chris’ legacy will be continued with every coach and gymnast who had the privilege of learning from his knowledge and expertise.
